Llangrove wins NCPTA Goldstar Award for our Big Breakfast
On 8th June Rachel, Keri, Matthew and Niamh went to a ceremony at HMS Belfast in London to receive a national award. The Big Breakfast was judged to be the best PTA fundraising initiative in the central England region and we received a trophy, certificate and cheque for £500! Thank you to all those who have supported this event over the last 4 years and helped us raise over £4,000 for local charities.

Llangrove Big Breakfast: Sunday 6th February 2011
We cooked 200 breakfasts and raised £1,200 for The Midlands Air Ambulance and £500 for school. Many many thanks to all those who donated food and raffle prizes or who helped on the day, and to those of you who came to enjoy the breakfast.

Llangrove Grand May Fayre:
The sun shone on over 300 visitors at the Grand May Fayre on 2nd May and we raised £2,300 for village projects; the school received £970. Thank you to all those who donated items or supported the event which will now become an annual village May Day Fayre.
Family Quiz Night: Friday 25th March 7pm. The Royal Arms Llangrove.
Congratulations to the Finighan team who came first and won 4 cinema tickets donated by The Savoy Theatre in Monmouth. Savoy Theatre Website.

Indian Cookery Evening: We raised £340 to be divided between school and Leapfrogs. Thank you!
Christmas Craft Fair: Saturday 27th November 2.00 - 4.30pm
Despite snowy weather we raised £500 and enjoyed a lovely afternoon of games, shopping and mince pies. Thank you to everyone who helped or braved the cold to join us.
Standing Room Only at Fashion Show
Over 100 people enjoyed a fashion show and clothes sale at Llangrove CE Primary School on Tuesday 9th November. The event featured local models who strutted their stuff in a range of outfits from leading high street stores in front of a packed audience in the school hall. The hugely popular evening is expected to have raised over £700 for school projects. Many thanks to the models and everyone who came along.
